Raw Material Screening and Substitution

Brief & Feasibility Review
We review your concept, target actives, dosage form, market and price point, then confirm what is technically feasible and what a realistic unit cost looks like.

Formula Design & Material Sourcing
Our lab drafts the formula and screens raw materials, comparing suppliers, grades and substitution options for potency, stability and cost.

Sample Rounds (2-3 Iterations)
We produce bench samples so you can check flavour, colour, mouthfeel and appearance, then refine the formula across two or three rounds until you approve it.

Specification Lock & IP Agreement
Once approved we freeze the master formula and specification sheet, sign the confidentiality and IP ownership agreement, and confirm MOQ, packaging and lead time.

Production & In-Process Control
The predmix is blended, then filled, pressed or moulded on dedicated lines with in-process weight, hardness and uniformity checks throughout the run.

Stability Data, QC & Export Packing
Batches are tested for actives, uniformity and microbiology, stability data is compiled, and finished goods are packed and documented for air, sea or express export.

Quality Control for Custom Formulas

A custom formula is only as good as the batch that delivers it. Every incoming raw material is checked against its certificate of analysis, and every finished batch is tested for active content, weight uniformity, disintegration or dissolution, moisture and microbial safety before release.

Production runs in a GMP-certified facility in Guangzhou following FDA, NSF and cGMP standards, with HACCP-based controls covering raw material handling, predmix blending, filling and packaging. Custom Supplement Formulation FAQ

What is the minimum order for custom formulation supplements?+
Hard capsules and tablets start at 5,000 bottles, gummies at 20,000 pieces and powder sticks at 10,000 sachets, while bulk predmix powders start at 25 kg. Formulation R&D is part of the project rather than a separate fee, and a starter batch can be discussed for a new SKU.
How long does custom formulation take?+
Formula development with two to three sample rounds usually takes 2 to 4 weeks, then production runs 4 to 6 weeks after the specification and artwork are approved. Gummies take 4 to 6 weeks. Stability testing continues in parallel and reports follow after release.
Can you develop a formula from scratch?+
Yes. Send a concept, a competitor label or a target actives list and our R&D team builds a formula around it, covering active levels, excipients, dosage form and taste. You receive a costed formula proposal, not just a catalogue match.
Do you provide samples before production?+
We do. You receive a bench sample from the first round, then up to two more iterations so you can adjust flavour, colour, mouthfeel or potency. Samples are typically ready in 7 to 14 days depending on the actives involved.
Can you package and label my product?+
Yes. We supply bottles, jars, sachets and cartons, and our team can design label artwork to your market requirements or work from your files. Dielines, barcodes and market-specific label text are prepared so the product ships retail-ready.
Which certifications does your factory hold?+
Custom projects run through our GMP-certified Guangzhou plant, which complies with FDA, NSF and cGMP standards and maintains HACCP and ISO 22000 systems. A specification sheet and certificate of analysis is produced for every batch, and organic or halal formulation work is backed by certified raw materials.
Do you help with shipping and customs documents?+
Custom-formula exports are documented with the commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of analysis, certificate of origin and health certificates as needed, and dispatched by air, sea or express. We will coordinate with your forwarder or recommend one.
What are your payment terms?+
New formulation projects normally start with a 30% deposit and settle the balance before shipment, by T/T or another agreed method. Repeat customers may negotiate more flexible terms, and pricing is quoted in USD unless you request otherwise.
Can US brands work with a China-based supplement manufacturer?+
Yes. We produce for brands across the United States and ship finished goods with full export documentation. Our GMP, ISO 9001/22000 and FDA-registered facility supports US labelling and compliance needs, and every batch ships with a certificate of analysis - which makes working with us straightforward for US founders and Amazon sellers.
